Iqama of Dependents of Expatriates and House Workers Can Be Extended from Outside Saudi Arabia
Riyadh — The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) has introduced a significant update allowing dependents of expatriates and domestic workers outside Saudi Arabia to renew their residency permits (Iqama) online. This development aims to streamline processes and provide greater convenience for residents and their families.
The Jawazat clarified that residents currently outside the Kingdom can also extend the duration of their single or multiple exit and re-entry visas. These services are accessible through the Ministry of Interior’s electronic platforms, including “Absher” and “Muqeem.”
To avail of these services, users must follow the stipulated procedures and pay the required fees as per the regulations.
