1. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to establish a clear framework to prevent human trafficking, forced labor, child labor, exploitation, and unethical recruitment practices in all recruitment and overseas employment activities conducted by LinkArabia.

This policy ensures compliance with Pakistani law, international labor standards, and ethical recruitment practices while protecting the rights, safety, and dignity of all workers .

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All employees of LinkArabia
  • Recruitment officers and administrative staff

The policy covers all recruitment, sourcing, placement, documentation, and overseas deployment activities.

3.Definitions
3.1 Human Trafficking

Human trafficking refers to the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harboring, or receipt of persons through deception, coercion, fraud, abuse of power, or exploitation for forced labor or other purposes.

3.2 Forced Labor

Work or service extracted from a person under threat, coercion, or without voluntary consent.

3.3 Ethical Recruitment

Recruitment conducted in a transparent, lawful, and fair manner that protects the rights and welfare of workers.

3.4 Worker

Any individual recruited, processed, or deployed by LinkArabia for employment domestically or internationally.

4. Policy Statement

LinkArabia maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward human trafficking, forced labor, child labor, and exploitation.

All recruitment activities are conducted in accordance with Pakistani emigration laws, international labor organization standards, and ethical recruitment practices.

LinkArabia is committed to:

  • Protecting worker rights and dignity
  • Ensuring transparent recruitment practices
  • Preventing exploitation and abuse
  • Maintaining lawful recruitment operations
 
5. Recruitment Compliance 
5.1 Compliance with Emigration Laws of Pakistan

LinkArabia strictly complies with the provisions of the Emigration Ordinance 1979 and Emigration Rules 1979 of Pakistan.

All recruitment activities must adhere to:

  • Legal recruitment procedures
  • Government-approved recruitment charges
  • Documentation requirements mandated by the Ministry of HRDOP.
  • Worker protection regulations under Pakistani law

Any unauthorized fee, illegal practice, or violation of these laws is strictly prohibited.

Workers must receive complete and accurate information before accepting employment, including:

  • Employer details
  • Job description
  • Salary and benefits
  • Working hours
  • Contract duration
  • Work location

Misrepresentation or misleading information is strictly prohibited.

6. Voluntary Participation

Recruitment must be conducted on a voluntary basis.

Workers must not be subjected to:

  • Coercion
  • Pressure
  • Threats
  • Deceptive practices

 

7. Prohibition of Child Labor

LinkArabia strictly prohibits recruitment of individuals below the legally permitted working age.

Age verification must be conducted through valid documentation prior to recruitment.

8. Employer Due Diligence

Before engaging with any overseas employer, LinkArabia shall conduct due diligence to verify:

  • Legal registration of employer with Government of Pakistan.
  • Compliance with labor laws
  • Safe working conditions
  • Ethical employment practices

Employers involved in exploitation, abuse, or illegal labour practices will not be engaged.

9. Agent & Sub-Agent Compliance

LinkArabia strictly maintains a direct recruitment model and does not conduct recruitment activities through external agents, intermediaries, brokers, or sub-agents.

All recruitment, candidate sourcing, screening, and processing are conducted directly by LinkArabia through its official offices, authorized staff, and verified communication channels. This policy is implemented to ensure full transparency, accountability, and protection of workers from unethical practices.

By avoiding the use of intermediaries, LinkArabia eliminates risks associated with:

  • Unauthorized recruitment fees
  • Misrepresentation of employment opportunities
  • Fraudulent job offers
  • Exploitation of workers by third parties

Workers are encouraged to communicate directly with Link Arabia’s official representatives for all recruitment-related matters.

10. Training & Awareness

LinkArabia shall conduct periodic training programs for staff and manpower covering:

  • Anti-human trafficking laws
  • Ethical recruitment practices
  • Worker rights and protections

Workers will also receive pre-departure awareness information regarding their employment rights.

11. Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed annually or when required due to regulatory or operational changes to ensure continued compliance with applicable laws and international standards.
